Project Inquiry

Let’s clarify what your systems need next.

Reach out if your tools, data, workflows, or client processes are starting to feel heavier than they should.

Hipster for Hire helps creative and service-based businesses clean up the operational systems behind their work, including CRMs, spreadsheets, Google Workspace, scheduling workflows, client communication, documentation, and short-term data cleanup projects.

About Hipster for Hire

You work directly with Cara, a Twin Cities–based systems consultant.

Hipster for Hire is a one-person consulting practice helping creative and service-based businesses clean up CRMs and data, improve workflows and client follow-up, document processes, and organize the operational systems behind their work.

I work best with small teams and founder-led businesses that have outgrown patchwork processes and need someone who can understand what is happening, organize the moving parts, and leave behind a practical system that is easier to use and maintain.

Based in Minnesota, I work with businesses locally and remotely.

When To Reach Out

A good inquiry starts with the system that feels messy.

CRM or data cleanup

Your contact records, spreadsheets, reports, tags, fields, or dashboards are messy, duplicated, outdated, or hard to trust.

Workflow design

Your intake, scheduling, handoff, email, client communication, or follow-up process depends too much on memory or manual effort.

Systems cleanup

Your backend tools technically work, but the whole setup feels scattered, too heavy, undocumented, or hard to maintain.

What To Include

Send enough context to make the next step clear.

You do not need a perfect project brief. A useful inquiry simply explains what feels messy, what tools are involved, and what you wish were easier to manage.

A strong inquiry includes:

  • What kind of business or team you run
  • What system, process, or tool feels messy right now
  • What tools are currently involved
  • What you have already tried
  • Whether this is a one-time cleanup project or ongoing support
  • Any deadline, launch, migration, or decision you are working around

Common project examples:

  • Clean up a CRM before outreach or reporting
  • Organize a spreadsheet that has become too manual
  • Clarify a client intake or follow-up process
  • Document a recurring workflow
  • Review tools before switching platforms
  • Create a cleaner structure for files, data, or client communication

What Happens Next

A practical next step, not a complicated sales process.

You send the basics

Share what feels messy, what tools are involved, and what outcome would make the system easier to use.

I review for fit

I’ll look for whether the project is a good match for practical systems cleanup, workflow design, or short-term operational support.

We clarify the scope

If it seems like a fit, the next step is usually a focused conversation about scope, timeline, access, and the clearest starting point.
